On the PC/Windows version of BeerSmith only, you have the option of L'Assistant d'Importation to import your recipes, equipment and matching Gestion de Stock from an existing version of BeerSmith on the same machine. The wizard runs when you first install BeerSmith 2, but you can also run it later by selecting Import Wizard from the File menu.
The import wizard attempts to find your existing BeerSmith installation, and shows you the newest matching directory found (if any) to import your files from. If no directory is found you are also offered the option to select a directory to import from. BeerSmith is looking for the BeerSmith 1.4 directory containing your Recipes.bsm file.
Once you have selected the directory to import, BeerSmith 2 will import all of your existing recipes, except for the samples directory, as well as your Profils de Matériel. It will also attempt to import any matching Gestion de Stock. If items are found that do not match your BeerSmith 2 ingredients, the program will show you how many unmatched Gestion de Stock items were found.
Note: You can also manually import items from BeerSmith 1 including Profils de Brassage, and custom ingredients. See Ouvrir un Fichier or the Video below for information on how to do this.
