BeerSmith 2.2 and higher has a recipe edit archive that keeps track of all recipe edits, inserts, pastes, moves and other transactions and stores a copy of the recipe in archive files. You can view and recover older versions of any recipe change made from the archive.
The archive does use additional disk space since it stores a copy of every change to every recipe. You can also turn off or adjust the archive and archiving options from the Options->Avancées dialog if you don't want to use the archive.
